Just a bit of advice, there's not much you can do now really but... If you're going to study A Levels (and not at 6th Form), you need 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above. Forget what rubbish your school has told you about the BTECs being worth x amount of GCSEs... Colleges wont even accept these. They also wont accept your Citizenship qualification which as it stands, if you fail what you say you will, would leave you with only 4 GCSEs unable to do A Levels (although BTECs would be a possibility). The same will go for highly ranked universities (IE in the top half of the table) and you need to try and get AT LEAST a B in Maths and English for those. |

After I finished uni I did several post graduate courses. The most useless but the one I enjoyed most was a Graduate certificae in Rural Management with a major in wool growing. For a city person with no rural involvement this was great fun (the folly of 'free" education paid for by the tax payers). |

I know plenty of people who don't get to do A Levels because they don't have 5 GCSEs who are studying now. It wont affect uni so much, in that regards it doesn't matter as you're higher education will be taken into account and it makes no difference if you're doing A Level or Btec but you will certainly need at least a B in GCSE Maths/English. |
